President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has forewarned Chairpersons of Boards and CEOs of State Owned Enterprise to sit up and team up with the government and deliver vital ways of fostering the nation or face expulsion from his government.
He likewise charged Presidents of State Owned Enterprise to assist with changing the ongoing financial situation.
As per the President, the current situation with the economy requires an aggregate exertion and skill of every one of his appointees to assist with building a strong economy.
The President raised worries about how some board seats and Chiefs have remained back without their huge contribution to dealing with the economy while others get the backlash.
The President called on them to sit up or get fired.
President Nana Addo made this statement at the 2023 State Intrest and Administration Authority (SIGA) yearly partner meeting in Kwahu-Nkwatia on Friday, February 10.
