The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has forewarned the general public against patronising a fake antimalarial drug, COMBIART Tablets (Artemether/Lumefantrine 20/120) on the market.
FDA cautioned that the fake medication doesn't contain any of the two active pharmaceutical ingredients it professes to have.
"The Food and Drug Authority (FDA) as a feature of its market observation activities wishes to bring to the attention of health workers and the general public, the presence of misrepresented (fake) antimalarial drug-COMBIART Tablets (Artemether/Lumefantrine 20/120) on our market," the FDA cautioned in an statement.
