President Akufo-Addo has designated Madam Genevieve Sackey for appointment as the new Managing Director of Ghana Cylinder Manufacturing Company Limited (GCMCL).
This designation is contained in a letter dated February, 21st and endorsed by the Leader Secretary to the President, Nana Bediatuo Asante.
"Mercifully do whatever it may take to regularize the expressed arrangement as per the significant arrangements of the Organizations Act 2019 (Act 992) and the guidelines of the Organization," segments of the delivery expressed.
Nana Bediatuo Asante stretched out to the new MD, "the President's all the best."
Genevieve Sackey's designation comes after the prompt past President, Frances Essiam resigned.
Making sense of the reasoning behind her acquiescence, Lady Ewurabena Essiam said she took the choice in light of impedance in her work by the Minister for Energy, Dr Matthew Opoku-Prempeh.
As per her, she chose to go into a concurrence with Ghana Gas - a choice she guaranteed the Energy Minister kicked against.
That's what she confirmed, Dr Opoku-Prempeh told her that one more organization has been requested to assume control over the management from GCMCL.
This turn of events, a bothered Madam Essiam, kept up with is an attack against the difficult work she has placed into making the company practical one.
"I'm an exceptionally principled people, so I have resigned for him to dominate and do what he needs to do," she expressed in a meeting on Asempa FM's Ekosii Sen program on Friday.
