A sanitation management company, Ghana First Company Limited has requested the Appointment Committee not to approve the appointment of Minister Designate for Local Government and Rural Development Ministry.
In a statement, the Company blamed O.B. Amoah of concealing reality according to his reactions to questions asked by Alhassan Sayibu Suhuyini, MP for Tamale North over the Ghana First Co. Ltd projects.
As indicated by the Company, Mr Amoah purposefully hid the real truth about the whole projects and the arrangements covering them.
"It is in this note that we thusly express our dissatisfaction and disappointment about the responses which Hon O.B Amoah gave on the Ghana First Co. Ltd and the Clean Ghana Project both in his two vettings which are really wrong and erroneous."
"We emphatically accept the priest assign was attempting to conceal reality from the great people of Ghana as well as Parliament having respects to the way that he has the real factors on these project yet contorted current realities to suit his parochial interest for Parliament to approve his nomination," parts of the statement read.
The Company demanded that the Minister-Designate has been essential for every one of the "processes of all projects and has every one of the important records on these ventures as an company, we find the stance and mentality of O.B Amoah towards the company discouraging, and it is no time like the present we welcome every bit of relevant information regarding this situation for the great people of Ghana to be aware."
"We emphatically accept if Hon. O.B Amoah gets the approval of Parliament to become Minister of State for the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, it won't foreshadow well for the smooth running of the Ministry of Local Government.
"This has become vital for the company to do this in light of the fact that each Ghanaian has an interest in this projects and is trusting that this venture will begin working in view of its significance and helpfulness to the nation, and tragically the very people who has the responsibility to get this going and to come clean with the entire world about this project has purposely been concealing reality with regards to the project.
"From the abovementioned, obviously Hon O.B Amoah has been economical with the reality of the entire Agreement and we submissively appeal to this Honorable Committee not to approve the appointment of Hon O.B Amoah until he has made the complete story of the reality of the Agreement and apologize to the great people of Ghana and Parliament."
