Ghanaian referee Charles Bulu has been selected by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to officiate the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifying match between Cape Verde and Eswatini.
The match will happen at the Santiago Estadio Nacional in Praia, the capital of Cape Verde. It is planned to start at 4 pm on Friday, March 24, 2023.
Bulu will be assisted on the touchlines by compatriots Paul Kojo Atimaka and Tijani Mohammed, with Abdul Latif Qadiri serving as the fourth official.
This game is critical in Group B of the qualifiers, as Cape Verde presently sits in runner up with three places, behind Burkina Faso, who have won every one of the six of their games. Eswatini have just a single point after two games.
With his wealth of experience, Bulu has managed various matches both locally and internationally, and his appointment is supposed to guarantee unprejudiced directing in what vows to be an exceptionally challenged game.
Guinea Bissau's Gregorio Bodupe will be the match commissioner, and Lemgaifry Bouchaab will be the referee assessor.
