Ashaiman Circuit court presided by Simon Gaga has remanded six people who are being held regarding the homicide of officer Imoro Sherrif to police custody.
The accused, Samuel Tetteh, Abubakar Sadick, Ibrahim Rakib, Safianu Musah, Yussif Mohammed and Abdul Gafaru Abdul Karim are to return under the watchful eye of the court on March 27.
Samuel Tetteh and Abubakar Sadick who are the prime suspects have argued not blameworthy to charges of intrigue to perpetrate crime and burglary, in spite of segments 23(1) and 149 of the Criminal Offenses Act, 1960 [Act 29].
The four other denounced people, Ibrahim Rakib, Safianu Musah, Yussif Mohammed and Abdul Gafaru Abdul Karim have been accused of untrustworthily getting in opposition to segment 146 of the Criminal Offenses Act 1960 (Act 29).
The four, in any case, argued not blameworthy to the charge.
Defence counsel, Abdul Fatawu Alhassan was fruitless in his bail application for his clients, Rakib, Safianu, Yussif and Gafaru.
Prosecutor, Supt. Sylvester Asare who is Dirctor, Legal at the CID headquarters contended that because of the idea of the case, the suspects living in a stand couldn't be conceded bail.
Introducing current realities to the court, the examiner let the court know that on Walk 4, 2023, police got data that a male grown-up had been tracked down lying dead at Taifa, a suburb of Ashiaman in the More prominent Accra Locale.
Police continued to the scene where they confirmed the incident. At the crime location, the police group recovered various things incorporating a blade with blood stains on it and a knapsack.
He said in the knapsack, they found 1 Samsung tablet, 1 Macintosh PC, a tactical uniform with the ID "Imoro", 8 different things of dress, as well as a Ghana card and a Medical coverage card bearing the name Imoro Sherrif.
The body of the departed was then passed on to an emergency for protection and dissection.

Police investigation uncovered that on March 3, the departed had visited a female companion at Ashaiman Newtown at around 10:30 pm and had left the spot at around 01:30 am, on March 4, 2023.
He said the departed who was coming back was gone after by Samuel Tetteh and Abubakar Sadick at Taifa and carried off his iPhone.
The charged then offered the telephone to Ibrahim Rakib for GH¢300 who in this manner offered the telephone to Safianu Musah for GH¢350.
The indictment added that the last option professed to have offered it to Yussif Mohammed and Abdul Karim.
The court has remanded the charged people to empower the police to continue with their investigations.
