It will be a fight between a veteran and a new kid as Sarkodie and Black Sherif have been nominated for this year's Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) in the categories of Best Hip Hop Song of the Year.
Between these two greats of various period in that categories will be any semblance of Amerado, Medikal, Kwesi Arthur and Malcolm Nuna, who will try to pull the astonishment.
The nominees list for the Best Hip Hop Song was released on Saturday, March 18.

Black Sherif's Kweku The Traveller, released in 2022, is among works that moved the young rapper to the music scene.
Tipped to win the categories, Black Sherif's song will face fierce competition from Sarkodie's Country Side, Amerado's Obiaa Boa, Kwesi Arthur's Drame, Medikal's Scarface and Malcolm Nuna's Benzo.
The 24th VGMAs will be hung on Saturday, May 13 at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
