Spokesperson for Nigeria's Duly elected president Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu says his most recent travel abroad is for him to enjoy some time off from long stretches of campaign and get invigorated before the progress event.
Bola Tinubu, whose election on Saturday, February 25 has been tested by the resistance, made a trip out of Nigeria to France and the United Kingdom on Tuesday, March 21.
There were reports that he had gone because of deteriorating ailments, raising doubt among the residents.
Current president Muhammadu Buhari has had medical problems with gossipy tidbits about his demise revealed on various occasions. In this way, Nigerians have considered the wellbeing of as chosen President as a basic measure.
Be that as it may, in a statement on Wednesday, March 22, Spokesperson Tunde Rahman said as the former Lagos Governor is on a mission to rest.
"The duly elected president chose to enjoy some time off after the feverish campaign and election season to rest in Paris and London, preliminary to going to Saudi Arabia for Umrah (Lesser Hajj) and the Ramadan fasting that starts Thursday," the statement said.
He added that Tinubu is normal back in the nation "soon".
