Chris Hughton has promised to focus on the Ghana Premier League and other domestic rivalries by observing more games during his divulging as Black Stars coach on Monday in Kumasi.
This commitment from Hughton follows criticism after he named a 25-man squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations twofold header without including any local players.
Still up in the air to change the story of past Black Stars coach who have been accused for dismissing the local league and zeroing in on players abroad.
He expressed at his divulging, "I will invest more energy in Ghana. I will observe more games. I'm continually being made mindful of players who are getting along nicely. I'll be focusing closer on [GPL] games since we must have a strong national league."
The former Northern Ireland international has marked an contract until 31 December 2024 not entirely settled to make the Black Stars extraordinary once more.
Hughton's presentation match is set to happen on Thursday, a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
