Testimonies about Christian Atsu's benevolence keep on pouring in since his demise was reported in February.
Today, family, companions, footballers and top personalities including President Akufo-Addo have accumulated to offer their last respect to the late Hatayspor player.
One of them was veteran commentator Kwabena Yeboah, who documented past the body toward the beginning of today as the former Back Stars player's funeral is being held at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.
Speaking to the media, Mr Yeboah lauded Christian's lowliness notwithstanding being at the apex of his career. As far as he might be concerned, the late footballer's lowliness merits copying."He never permitted his acclaim and well to get into his head. Customarily when footballers get extremely well known, they will more often than not be a piece haughty and they will more often than not be a piece very enthusiastic. He never at any point arrived at that point. He always remembered his underlying foundations," he added.
Atsu, 31, was found dead on February 18, 2023, following the staggering tremor in Turkey and Syria on February 6, which killed in excess of 50,000 individuals in the two nations.
His last club was Hatayspor club.
