The Government says it will pay remarkable coupon and principal on bonds that matured on February 6 and 13, 2023 out of two days.
The Government said in an explanation gave by the Finance Ministry on Tuesday that the cycles to settle payments of the extraordinary securities started on Monday, March 13, 2023.
"Holders of the up to recorded bonds ought to accordingly hope to accept their payments inside the following 48 hours," it said.
The statement added that payment dates for resulting developments would be imparted at the appropriate time, as handling proceeded.
The Finance ministry on behalf of the Government, expressed gratitude toward all partners for their patience during the Domestic Debt Exchange Programme (DDEP) and resulting regulatory process.
The Government got a Staff-Level Understanding (SLA) with the IMF last year, and sent off the DDEP to guarantee the Asset of lenders' certainty to meet its debt obligation.
The DDEP is essential for Ghana's obligation rebuilding process, which is an essential for the country's $3 billion Expanded Credit Office (ECF) program with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
The DDEP formally shut on February 13, with the Public authority trading a sum of GHS83 billion worth of old bonds and hence reported a comparable interaction with its outer lenders.
