The nominees announcement for the 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is in progress.
A few categories have been announced since the show aired from the beginning Saturday morning on TV3 and Youtube.
Organizers will keep on announce more categories consistently until 9:00 pm when it makes the last announcement for the Big 5 Categories; Best New Artiste, Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year, and Artiste of the Year.
Ahead of the current year's ceremony, airing live on May 13 from the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference (AICC), Exclusively announce the nominees for Best Gospel Song, Best Hi-life Song, Best Hip-life Song, Best Afrobeats Song and some more.
Friday Night, Stubborn Academy, Anadwo, Abonten, Grace, Ewiase By Kweku Flick will vie for the exceptionally desired spot as Best Hip-life song.
Atia by Epixode ft Kwabena, My Proposal by AK Songstress, Adi dede by Adina, Adom by Kwesi Arthur, Kelvyn Boy's Down Flat and Have Mercy from the corrals of Kofi Kinaata will likewise battle it out for Best Hi-life song
Best Gospel song will be awards to one of the following nominees: Final Say - Celestine Donkor, Waye me yie - Piesie Esther, My Meditation- Diana Hamilton, Kadosh - Joe Mettle, Hewale Lala - Perez Muzik, Tegbe - Bethel Revival choir ft Edwin Dadson, This Far - Ewura Abena and Mala - MOG music.
