A young man has been lynched at Asafo in Kumasi after he was accused of attempting to steal a bus at the VIP station in the area.
The deceased believed to be in his 30s apparently broke into one of the buses VIP-branded bus and drove it away.
The bus conductor saw this and bounced onto a motorbike to give him a hot chase.
As per the Dadiesoaba Assembly Member, Akwasi Agyeman, the conductor, while on the chase sounded the alert and a few residents joined in.
"At the point when he got to the GRA office, the slope there, he expected to climb but since the bus also moves with air and evidently there was insufficient air to make a big difference for it.
"What's more, since he didn't be able to fill it with air prior to moving it, he stalled out and the mate had the option to find him," Mr Agyeman told Accra-based Class FM.
The developing crowd in this manner got the suspect after one more frantic endeavor to run away from the area.
"At the point when the mate yelled to draw in the group, he endeavored to move down and take off, he had a go at returning yet run into somebody's vehicle. So individuals came and beat him up. The crowd beat him up."
His remaining parts have been stored at the morgue by police in Asokwa.
