After supposedly being detained on July 19, 2023, at the Kotoka International Airport, Ghanaian rapper and artist Black Sherif has spoken out.
According to reports, the current VGMA artiste of the year was escorted to the Ghana police headquarters for allegedly breaking a contract about a July 4 performance that he failed to honor in Greece.
Black Sherif allegedly wanted US$40,000 for his performance aboard a cruise liner in Greece, but only received half of that sum.
The artist was reportedly taken up at Kotoka International Airport after being put on the stop list as a result of a client complaint.
Blacko has used Twitter to promote his upcoming performance at the University of Ghana despite the uproar.
I'll be at Pent tomorrow. If you're not feeling well, avoid the front row and watch the performance from the back or somewhere where the craziness isn't as dramatic. YAYA KK, I'll see you there," he wrote.
I’m coming to Pent Tomorrow. If you are not feeling well don’t come in front, enjoy the show from the wings or wherever the madness isn’t extreme. See you there💕
