Sonnie Badu, senior pastor of the Rock Hill Church in the United States and a gospel minister from Ghana, has provided an explanation for his silence throughout the recent Yvonne Nelson-Sarkodie controversy.
In an interview with NY DJ on Y102.5FM, the minister—known for giving his opinion on hot-button issues in Ghanaian entertainment—confessed that the atmosphere was quite stressful and that he decided to remain silent.
I refrained from talking about the Sarkodie situation because I didn't feel it was essential. I didn't want to get engaged since it was so heated, he added.
When questioned about why he addresses nearly every issue despite having a music career and ministry to manage, the Wonder God singer said nothing hindered him from doing so.
