Rapper Yaw Tog from Ghana has explained why he left the well-known musical ensemble Asakaa.
Yaw Tog claims that although they had wanted him to sign with a label, he decided against it because the terms of the deal did not favor him.
He revealed in a current interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM;
"Everyone received a different deal after working. They wanted to represent me for Live Living Records, but the contract wasn't moving smoothly, so it was basically working for nothing. Therefore, my boss said, "We can't sign this contract, but if you guys need us at any time, we'll be there," but one of them responded, "No, they can't work with us." I therefore felt fine. It therefore wasn't about a quarrel, money, or anything else.
Yaw Tog was regarded as a member of the prestigious Ghanaian drill team Asakaa.
O'Keith, City Boy, Reggie, and Jay Bahd—all Asaaka Boys—are featured on his smash song "Sore."
Yaw Tog's decision to go solo after making a splash in the music industry, however, left many fans perplexed.
He has now explained why he chose to travel alone.
