The UMB Ghana Tertiary Awards, dubbed the most notable student festival in Ghana, are back to mark the event's tenth anniversary.
On Friday, July 14, 2023, students from several tertiary institutions, employees of Cross Marketing Ghana, board members of the award scheme, and members of the media attended the launch at the SG Mall in Kumasi.
The General Manager of Cross Marketing, Nana Kwesi Ohemeng, spoke during the opening, discussing the experience so far and expressing hope for the awards program's future.
The 2023 edition of the UMB Ghana Tertiary Awards, which will be held under the subject "Building a resilient and transformative next-generation," will honor and honour students from various tertiary institutions throughout Ghana in 40 different categories.
The public and board votes, with 70% and 30% each, will determine the finalists.
Scholarships, trophies, certificates, reference letters, attestation letters, and merchandise from sponsors are just some of the gifts that winners of this year's awards will get.
In addition to Munchys, GasNow, DeVoid Night Club, Graphic Group Communications (Graphic Showbiz, Graphic Newspluss, Pan African Television, Youth Empowerment TV Show, and Ghana News), UMB is the sponsor of the 2023 Ghana Tertiary Awards.
