Fox and the Television Academy made the official announcement that the 75th Emmy Awards will now take place on Monday, January 15, 2024, at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT.
As a result, the ceremony will take place on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and will finally air close to four months after the initial telecast date (September 18). The key image for this year's event has been changed by Fox and the TV Academy as part of the announcement; scroll down for more.
The Emmys will now take place in the heart of the winter award season due to the revised date. And it might result in additional disputes: The Creative Arts Emmy Awards will now take place on Saturday, January 6, and Sunday, January 7, the TV Academy also stated. Originally scheduled for September 9 and September 10, they were moved up.
