One of the seasoned director and producers in the Ghanaian film business, Director Virus, has expressed his delight over the return of iconic Ghanaian actor Agya Koo to the screen.
The award-winning actor was not recently seen in any national productions due to a falling out with some directors and producers who claimed that he had grown haughty.
Agya Koo, however, just made a huge comeback with the help of the Youtube site Okodie TV, and ever since his return, he has been working tirelessly to restore his position as Ghana's most in-demand actor.
Director Virus made the point that although though it is a great thing, the impact and hype many people, including himself, felt that Agya Koo's comeback would have, have not yet been realized. Director Virus said how thrilled he is about Agya Koo's return.
The director of Cocoa Season TV said that when Agya Koo, who is known as Alexander Kofi Adu in real life, began working on Okodie TV's series titled Agya Koo Typewriter, a large number of viewers flocked to the station to see him.
The subsequent programs they created for the same channel, meanwhile, did not receive the viewership that many would have preferred.
Director Virus hastened to add that despite the fact that Agya Koo's stats are not as impressive as many believe they should be given his heritage, his talent is still desirable.
