The Dance With A Purpose (DWP) member claims that her parents weren't all that supportive of her love of dancing because they thought dancers were typically street kids due to past experiences. She said her parents were worried about how it would affect her education. She set out on a mission to disprove her parents, nevertheless, by taking her schoolwork seriously and incorporating dancing after realizing the challenges ahead.
In an interview with Nana Ama McBrown on Onua Showtime on Onua TV The dance sensation claimed with McBrown last weekend that "It's been 5 years in the dancing space. After BECE in 2018, I began. Despite joining DWP in 2018, I graduated from SHS in 2021. I've benefited from dancing in so many different ways. Dance has given me confidence and carried me places I never thought I would go, even here. I never knew dance could assist me.
It has helped me meet new people and improved me as a person because I feel like I have value, she stated. I usually dance with Dancegod Lloyd because he was my mentor. Financially, socially, intellectually, physically, and spiritually, it has been beneficial to me. The academy is managed by a man named Qwables, who also oversees everyone else.
Afronita studies for a Bachelor of Science in Administration at the University of Ghana, Legon, while also attending classes there. She mentioned that she had planned her schedule so that it doesn't conflict with dancing.
