Market Drive in Kaneshie and Makorla was successfully organized by Perez Musik, the current Vodafone Male Vocal Performance of the Year and Songwriter of the Year winners.
The activities took place in the two Accra markets from Saturday, July 22, to Saturday, July 29.
The 'The Rhema in Motion' program (TRIM) aims to reach out to young men and boys on the streets and in commercial areas, share the gospel with them, and give them education and job training.
Additionally, he collaborates with prominent people in society to inspire young people.
Perez Musik and his team gave gifts and presented the gospel at the markets to anyone who could sing one of his songs.
The crew also identified a few young men who appeared to have given up and were about to throw up their hands in despair, and they took their information in order to enroll them in their education and skill-development programs.
In a statement to the media, Perez Musik stated that he has realized how little attention society gives to boy children, but he still holds the view that "if you are raising the girl child, bring the boy child close because if you neglect the boys, they will cause problems for the girls through social vices, among other things."
He says it is the effort that develops a platform that makes it possible to assist the boy-child.
To help the boy-child refrain from illegal actions, Perez Musik noted that one might learn graphic design, video editing, animation, painting, and shoe making as part of the campaign.
The Market Drive is a part of the preparations for his yearly Glorified Concert, which is scheduled for August 27, 2023 at 4 pm at the Dominion Sanctuary of the Victory Bible Church, Awoshie in Accra.
Pastor Joe Bechem, Cindy Thompson, Siisi Baidoo, and the venerable Pastor Joe Bechem will all be ministering alongside Perez Musik on that particular day.
