Okokobioko, a well-known figure in the comedy worlds of Ghana and Nigeria, has performed on a number of significant stages, including ones he built himself. He performed his debut show in 2017 and a second one the following year, both of which were wildly popular.
He took a sabbatical for a while for a variety of personal reasons, but he is now returning permanently. Okokobioko will tell an interesting tale of how he ended up caught in the between of two countries in this show, Caught In The between, going beyond the usual jokes. His father is from Ghana, and his mother is from Nigeria.
He explained that he knows the capacity of the national theater, a multi-purpose venue for concerts, dance, drama, and musical performances, screenplays, exhibitions, and special events, and that he has what it takes to fill it in response to why he did not choose to do it there instead because it is a little bit smaller.
