The chief executive officer of the Ghana Movie Awards recently spoke on Graphic Showbiz to explain his choice to retire.
According to Fred, his withdrawal only represented a temporary break from the forefront of political activity rather than the end of his political aspirations.
"My decision to withdraw from the Ayawaso West-Wuogon NDC parliamentary primaries might signify a temporary sabbatical from my political goals, but it doesn't imply I have completely given up on politics. "No!" he yelled.
He continued by expressing his concern and commitment for his party and his readiness to make significant contributions to various aspects of the political system.
"I shall support my party and Ghanaians in a variety of capacities. The future will look after itself, he continued.
The NDC's Ayawaso West-Wuogon parliamentary election is scheduled for August 7, 2023. Fred Nuamah unexpectedly decided to withdraw from the race.
The news not only generated headlines, but also raised concerns, given that John Dumelo, a close friend of his and a candidate for the same seat in the past general elections, was involved.
