Rev. Obofour, the founder and head of Anointed Palace Chapel (APC), recently revealed the source of his fortune. His name is Kwaku Agyei Antwi.
In a live broadcast, the well-known man of God addressed rumors and conjecture over his wealth. He claims that the money he has amassed comes from the gifts and contributions given by those who attend church.
He underlined that all of those tangible possessions were the result of monetary gifts from congregants while pointing to a shoe he was wearing. Obofour went on to say that the money raised through donations and the proceeds from church functions are reinvested, citing the example of a new pair of shoes that were bought with money raised from church offerings.
The idea that any priest can become independently wealthy was more directly contested by the APC founder. No religious leader, in his opinion, can be naturally wealthy; rather, they build wealth through the financial support of their followers. He claims that these offerings are invested in various company endeavors, which finally results in their financial success.
