Wendy Shay, a new signing to Rufftown Records, has disclosed that she has experienced more spiritual struggles than usual after relocating to Ghana to pursue her music career after leaving Germany.
On the Day Show with Berla Mundi, Wendy Shay talked about her career in the music industry. She said that while she was in Germany, she had no spiritual issues; but, after she got to Ghana, she began to experience them.
"You don't really see spirituality like that growing up in Germany, but obviously, I faced a lot of spiritual battles when I came to Ghana," the woman revealed.
The vocalist of "Habibi" said, "It's natural everywhere. The spirit of music itself. What makes me unique enough for folks to want to come see me perform? There ought to be something at work here that is beyond my comprehension.
Wendy Shay, who has now established herself in the field and is prepared to carry out her vocation fully, continued by saying;
"I now know who I truly am because of that. I know that I have always wanted to be a musician, but living a life motivated by purpose is different, and that is where I am at the moment. I have a highly intentional life and pay close attention to everything.
