Caly Grande, a musician from Ghana, has officially released "Press Play"—his debut album—across all digital platforms. The EP's five songs cover a variety of musical styles and themes.
In a thorough extended play, he sonically blends themes like personal hardships, colorism, love, and money, as well as a cry for liberation on the last song, "Free Me." The song "My Mind" begins playing when you "Press Play," encouraging you to keep going and accomplish your goals in spite of the challenges and society's critiques of young people.
On "Us Two," Caly Grande catches a unique perspective of the conflict between love and money; "Jeje" subsequently completes the theme of love. He remembers to present flowers in honor of all the "Black and Beautiful" Women while maintaining their the groove throughout the entire project.
Great stories and incredible funky sounds are combined in the artist's debut album to create a fantastic listening experience. He claimed that this was done on purpose to give the project direction. In a recent interview, he stated to Amplify Ghana that "The EP was carefully written to tell all these stories in one body of work, just like a movie."
Casper Beatz is credited with the project's production. The "Press Play" EP is now accessible anywhere in the world on every streaming platform.
