Mr. Samuel Awuni is the Lead Manager for BrandNet Communications, a digital and social media Strategic Agency, and is frequently referred to as "the unseen hands behind brands". On social media, he manages the brands and goods for a number of well-known entities, including celebrities, well-known corporations, government agencies, and private businesses. He has a strong reputation in his line of work and has throughout the years shown himself beyond a shadow of a doubt.
At this year's Humanitarian Awards Global, Mr. Awuni has been nominated for the Best Social Entrepreneur award in recognition of his support of young people's employment prospects, mentorship, and inventiveness.
Samuel Awuni started out as a reporter before rising to the position of lead producer at GN Morning U.K. Prior to this, Samuel Awuni served as the Sunrise Morning show's assistant producer on 3fm.
In addition, Samuel serves as the Executive Director of the Youth Eye Innovations Foundation, an advocacy and research-based organization that has collaborated on a number of youth-related projects with organizations like the Ghana Education Service, the Head of States Awards Scheme, and the National Youth Authority of Ghana. Samuel also played a key role in the introduction of Ghana's National Youth Policy Implementation Plan.
His long-standing passion for journalism led him to start BrandNet Communications in 2012, a company that works with well-known brands and individuals on a variety of communications-related projects, such as brand management and advice, content creation, social media management, publicity, and PR services. He served as editor of Lucky Television's digital media department and also gave lectures at the media-focused Synergies Institute.
His team has successfully taught multiple businesses in strategic social media management techniques and oversaw the creation of social media departments for each of these businesses.
