Tulenkey, a popular stage name for Ghanaian rapper and musician Chief Osei Bonsu, revealed that he is still debating whether or not to serve in the military after completing his tertiary degree.
The rap sensation said that he has not yet begun his National Service since he is still debating whether or not he wants to participate in it in an interview with Felicia Osei on Onua Fm's Adwuma Adwuma.
"Everything is fine," he said in an effort to clarify. Although I haven't begun yet, I will ultimately begin my National Service. I'm still thinking about it. He joked, "I might do it," and added, "I can add the money paid to that of mine to get $1,000,000."
The former Adisadel College student responded, "I think maybe a media house since I studied sound engineering," when asked which department or subject he would like to contribute his services in.
The 'Ghetto' hitmaker discussed how life has treated him since he graduated from Abromedia Institute, where he studied sound engineering, and noted how challenging it was at the time to balance music with his studies even though he noted that he got some decent grades. He went on to discuss some of the difficulties he had to overcome as a popular figure and student.
Everything is fine, as the rapper put it. I was performing music before I finished school, and that is what I have been doing. At first, it was difficult to balance the two of them. Even though it was challenging, I was able to manage. My grades weren't too bad. Everything has been cool and on point.
He said, "Everyone was looking at me. Being watched by everyone prevented me from having my "alone time." Even making blunders makes you anxious. It was pretty unpleasant.
