Apple Music is informed by Tyler ICU about Chasing the Unforgettable.
What can we do to surprise folks and make it something they will never forget? That is something I have always sought after. I don't need many songs on an album for people to say, "OK, this what what," so I simply want that one particular moment in a song that will always capture you. That kind of stuff is what I look for. I strive to be unforgettably memorable. It's simple to pick up on the lyrics alone because they are consistently repeating. It's simpler for them to remain inside of you.
Apple Music is informed by Tyler ICU about the Tembisa music industry.
Nandi: You originate in a neighborhood named Tembisa, which is east of Johannesburg and, for some reason... Tembisa, dude, I don't know what it is, but it generates some of the best artists on the continent, if not the entire planet. Why is Tembisa special? Is it the energy? The environment? You guys are killing it there, that's for sure.
Tyler: The atmosphere, such as how the streets flow, has always been important. Everyone there simply enjoys going out and listening to the music that the Tembisa people create. The support we receive from that hood is so typical that it's absolutely crazy.
