The celebrated two-day, multi-stage event PROPER NYE/NYD, which will take place this December 31 and January 1 at San Diego's Petco Park, has just revealed its phase one roster.

PROPER, which brings top performers from all over the world to the expansive Petco Park footprint in the middle of San Diego's handy city center, has swiftly established itself as Southern California's premier New Year's Eve venue. The event comes after the sold-out Fall edition of the FNGRS CRSSD Festival in September and its sold-out debut this past year.

Phase one begins with Black Book Records label head Chris Lake, deadmau5's groundbreaking TESTPILOT alter ego, Grammy-nominated electronic producer and singer ZHU, Higher Ground and Mad Decent superproducer Diplo, triple-platinum UK duo CamelPhat, and the mysterious German project Claptone. The final lineup will include more than 50 artists.

Additionally, attendees can expect performances by the top-charting North London band Gorgon City, Sonny Fodera, Chris Lorenzo, Duke Dumont, Eli & Fur, and Aussie favorite Sonny Fodera.

House music fans won't be short of favorites on the PROPER program, which includes bands like the groove-driven Walker & Royce, the triple platinum-certified Hayden James, the internationally renowned Layla Benitez, and the head of Hellbent Records Cloonee. Four to the Floor rhythms may also be heard from Chicago's underground rising star Azzecca, multi-platinum Latin House artist HUGEL, tech house greats Biscits and Kyle Watson, and melodic house producer Franky Wah.

Star-studded techno acts including Pan-Pot from Berlin, Chris Avantgarde from Germany's Afterlife, Rebke from the rave scene, and Massano from melodic techno are all represented in PROPER's selection.

Petco Park's field serves as the stage for PROPER, which also features stage activations elsewhere on the park. One of the most recognizable locations in Southern California is Petco Park, which gives fans of electronic music unhindered views of downtown San Diego in the center of the city. It's the perfect setting for a New Year's Eve celebration with music provided by the current and upcoming stars of the genre.

FNGRS CRSSD, the organization behind the celebrated CRSSD Festival, is the sponsor of PROPER. The event will wrap up a fantastic year for the brand, which also saw successful CRSSD editions in the spring and fall, the summer debut of the alternative and indie-focused Bleached Fest, and numerous other stand-alone events.

All buyers from the CRSSD Spring or Fall 2023, PROPER NYE 2022/23, and the FNGRS CRSSD Petco Park 2022/23 performances are eligible for the alumni presale, which starts on Thursday, 8/17 at 12 PM PST. The SMS Community presale will start on Friday, August 18 at 12 PM PST, and the GA and VIP on-sale will start at 2 PM PST.

The first information about the brand-new PROPER Las Vegas edition, which will take place on December 30 and December 31, has already been released by FNGRS CRSSD. The list for the 21+ event, which will have four stages and a lineup that includes the San Diego lineup as well as more acts, will be revealed next week.
