The actress claimed in a recent interview on Accra FM that she has turned down numerous opportunities since movie plots are no longer instructive.
"I've turned down a lot of parts since I mostly consider the plot and the writing. I won't be joining the cast if after reading the screenplay I find it nonsensical.
"There are movies that seem aimless and go around in circles," she continued. It contains no wise counsel. The youth cannot gain any useful knowledge from it. Thus, she said, "I reject any movie that doesn't have a good moral lesson."
Martha claims that she has turned down many jobs since movie screenplays don't impart any moral teachings.
Another illustration she gave was a script with sections about "a man who sleeps with women and kills them. "What can a viewer learn from a movie like this, how to kill multiple women?" She inquired.
"I dared to point out that the tale doesn't make sense to the guy who supplied the script. I was honest, and I've expressed it to several producers as well," she claimed.
