Ohene Parker, a rising star in Ghana's High-Life genre, has finally made available the official music video for his number-one single, "Follow."
The vocalist brings the song to life with enthralling visuals that feature lovely vistas and locations. The video transports the viewer into the captivating landscape of Aburi, much like the song takes the listener on a musical trip to express their untapped emotions.
The video, which was primarily shot in and near the Adom Falls in Aburi, presents nature in its most unadulterated state. The video begins with a gorgeous green scene before cutting to a stunning vixen with dark complexion who follows the singer and his entourage into the wilderness.
Then Ohene Parker and his gang go through on motorbikes, weaving through the jungle on winding paths. The video's director, Vision by London, masterfully combines aerial and close-up images to highlight the message of the song in a motion picture.
The music video concludes late at night with the vixen moving into the shadows while being illuminated by just one light source, with the statement "within the blend of light and darkness, lies the canvas for crafting a truly extraordinary tapestry of experience."
And in fact, Ohene Parker was able to create a song that is a masterpiece and has now given it life with this new video.
Ohene Parker calls the song "delightful and uplifting song that beautifully captures the essence of pure joy and boundless happiness."
Production company Ethellion used Cyril Mettle's cinematography for the song video.
