The greatest of Iranian film and television were honored at the 22nd Hafez Awards, Picture World Cinema and Television Ceremony, according to a report by independent and foreign cinema journalist Mansour Jahani. The film "Imagination," which was directed by Ali Behrad, received the Abbas Kiarostami Memorial Medal.
After a year off, Picture World Magazine's 22nd Cinema and Television Ceremony (Hafez Awards), produced by Azar Azar Memarian and directed by Omid Moalem, took place. The best of Iranian film and television received the prizes. The Abbas Kiarostami Memorial Medal for this year went to Ali Behrad's film "Imagination."The Hafez trophy for best Motion Picture went to "Conjugal Visit," Aida Pahanandeh was named best Director for "Titi," and Arsalan Amiri's "Zalava" took up the jury prize.
The 22nd non-governmental Hafez Awards were organized by Picture World Magazine, with editor-in-chief Omid Moallem, and were presided over by Azar Memarian with the goal of showcasing the best motion picture and television creations. The ceremony was held at the Espinas Palace Hotel in Tehran and was attended by a number of well-known artists and personalities from TV and movies. Top Original Score: Atabai by Hossein Alizadeh
The Situation of Mehdi by Vahid Ebrahimi has the best cinematography.
Emad Khodabakhsh's "Without Everything" has the best editing.

The best original songs are "Set Me Free" by Mohsen Chavoshi and "Innocent" by Alireza Ghorbani.

The Hafez Awards are a yearly celebration of Iranian cinematic accomplishments. The Hafez Awards are the only non-governmental film festivals and awards ceremony located in Iran. Picture World Magazine, led by editor-in-chief Ali Moallem, organized the first edition of the ceremony in 1997.
