Raphael Kofi Attachie, a.k.a. Camidoh, is a Ghanaian music sensation who has declared that he is not troubled that his other songs don't measure up to the success of his famous song "Sugarcane."
The crooner's smash song from two years ago, "Sugarcane," has been playing nonstop since it was published.
Even while "Sugarcane" is one of Camidoh's most popular songs to date, some reviewers have pointed out that some of his other songs, including "Brown Skin Girl," which features Stonebwoy, haven't achieved the same degree of success. This raises the question of whether "Sugarcane" was a one-off smash.
But Camidoh clarified to Hitz FM's Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz that the circumstances surrounding "Sugarcane" are different from his following songs, therefore he isn't worried about them not being as successful as his earlier releases.
The crooner clarified that he no longer feels the same amount of pressure and attributed this variation to different “seasons” in his career. More than anything, Camidoh emphasized that not every song will be as successful as "Sugarcane" and that it's critical to realize that different approaches, plans, and circumstances may arise during his career. He no longer puts undue pressure on himself, instead learning to enjoy the different stages of his musical journey.
There are various plans, strategies, and circumstances, therefore it won't always be the same. I'm not even bothered if every album could accomplish what Sugarcane did. I used to think that way back then. I used to put a lot of pressure on myself, but sometimes you just have to accept that not every record will perform that well; it's simply the nature of the seasons," he remarked.
