The highly awaited Lighthouse album by highlife sensation Akwaboah has finally been released after keeping his fans and music enthusiasts in suspense for a considerable amount of time.
The Matters of Heart album, which debuted to great praise in 2018, and the Lighthouse EP, which was released in December 2021, precede Akwaboah's Lighthouse album.
The artist claims that in order to complete the burial preparations for his father Kwadwo Akwaboah, who tragically passed away this year, he had to put the project on hold for a short while.
His former labelmates Sarkodie and Strongman, together with Efya, Adina, Kwabena Kwabena, Txt, and Nana Asaase, are featured on the eleven-track album Lighthouse.
Akwaboah hopes to become known as the shining star of Ghanaian music with this album. a representative of Highlife music who possesses the musical ability to write songs in other genres as well, such as Reggae, Afrobeat, and Afro fusion. The song's title, Lighthouse, is a metaphor in and of itself, representing the kind of reputation that musician and brand Akwaboah hope to build.

He claims that the record does not ignore its ardent admirers who are infatuated with love melodies. Prior to his yearly Valentine's Day Shades of Love performance in February of the following year, Akwaboah is also organizing a Lighthouse performance for December.
