Previous US President Barack Obama has delivered his yearly rundown of most loved movies of the year.
In the wake of posting his top films, he later returned with an update expressing "I just saw Purple and adored it. I'm adding it to this rundown as one of my #1 films during the current year".
'Purple' appeared with $18.1M in its first day of the season and it has been the greatest Christmas film industry debut in north of 10 years - beating 'Aquaman' And 'Wonka' - and the second-greatest Christmas Day opening ever.
