The Ghana Jazz Foundation, a non-benefit association that intends to advance live jazz music and other nearby works of art through coordinated efforts like instructive projects and backing for performers and unrecorded music settings has been sent off.
The Ghana Jazz Establishment (GJF) was laid out to advance imaginative exhibitions and lift Ghana and Africa's music both locally and globally. The establishment is focused on interfacing nearby abilities with the diaspora and worldwide organizations utilizing inventive and key strategies. The authority send off service occurred at the +233 Jazz Bar and Barbecue.
As per the Ghana Jazz Establishment's Leader, Dr Adrian Oddoye, the establishment which was framed in 2023 is a coordinated effort between admirers of Jazz and artists to offer a way to deal with how assets could be united to upgrade the unrecorded music scene in Accra and across Ghana.
"This evening is a unique evening, we've worked at getting this establishments together attempting to get the performers and the Jazz teammates to sit and assemble an arrangement of groups just to push unrecorded music ahead locally and the nation over and we might want to make that little stride today to send off the establishment in a little manner. We need to support the energy and advance jazz music in Ghana", he said.
Present at the send off service was the Leader of MUSIGA, Bessa Simons who declared his goal to meet up with the Ghana Jazz Establishment to advance unrecorded music in Ghana.
"We invite drives that will work on the nature of music that will empower organizing for artists, overall joint efforts are turning into the thing to get done. A region where Artists Association of Ghana couldn't want anything more than to team up intimately with the Ghana Jazz Establishment is in getting ready to have the Global Jazz Day festivity in Ghana in the following future", he expressed.
