Jimmy Kimmel hosted the 96th Oscars live on Sunday, March 10, from the Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood. With thirteen nominations overall, Yorgos Lanthimos' crazy comedy Poor Things had eleven, and Martin Scorsese's historical crime thriller Killers of the Flower Moon had ten. As the evening wore on, Christopher Nolan's IMAX-sized biography Oppenheimer was the most nominated movie of the year.
A stellar group of presenters, which included the acting winners from the previous year (Michelle Yeoh, Brendan Fraser, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Ke Huy Quan), presented Oscars in all twenty-three categories. The largest prize was left for last, as is customary: Best Picture.
