The well-known musician, who has a significant influence in the music business, has made indications that he would like to play a political role in his country's development.
On Saturday, March 3, 2024, the crooner and ardent supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kwame Dadzie, stated in an interview with Joy FM's Showbiz A-Z that he would be happy to accept the post provided it fits within his purview.
"I have reached the age where I believe I can contribute positively to the development of this country, so I will accept a political appointment if it falls within my capacity," he declared.
When asked if he would be interested in working for the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, the "Abiba" hitmaker replied, "When we get to that road, we will cross it because, in the end, all these positions are political appointments and, given your intelligence and knowledge of the country, you can deliver wherever they put you if you really want to."
The renowned artist expressed his views on the state of Ghanaian democracy and said that a revision of the presidential term will improve national government. He contends that no government can meaningfully affect the economy in the current four-year tenure.
"We also jump on the bandwagon because America has elections every four years, but the question is, has America had democracy for more than 200 years? We're just getting started, I guess. So consider our predicament," he remarked.

He went on to say that a six-year term would allow the current administration to function admirably.
"I believe that the four years is excessive. In one term, I would have hoped for six years. For in the event that you are granted six years, you will use a year or a year and a half to establish your government. You cannot do anything if, after four or five years, you are unable to do anything. You don't have to apply for a second term.
"Take a look at our predicament as a whole. The first year following the election has seen the formation of the government, along with the appointments and other processes. It will be close to two years by the time the administration decides to begin implementing its plan," he continued.
