The Fifth International Women's Day Event Hosted By Lady Sam Was A Success, With The Theme Being "INCLUDE HER."

Testimonials from LadySam's "INCLUDE HER" conference, sponsored by SHIMEI Solutions, on March 9, 2024 at the Fiesta Royale Hotel, indicate that it was an exciting and fun-filled event. Not only did women turn up in large numbers, but several men also showed up to show their support. The program began with a thought-provoking speech by guest speaker Professor Lord Mawuko-Yevugah, a Political Economist and Professor of International Relations at Gimpa. He asked, "Where were the women, considering that women made up more than half of the population, how come they seemed not to be as much a part of the decision making?"

The speakers for the day included Kokui Selormey, Helen Appiah-Ampofo, Edma Lawer, Mary-Anna Gyamfi, the sales manager for GMABC, and Sophia Benson, the HR manager for Nestlé Ghana. The audience had the chance to hear directly from these well-known media figures. The women gave tactical advice on how to overcome obstacles in both social and professional spheres. They also offered pointers on cultivating a winning mindset. Eunice Tornyi, host of "African Women's Voices Show," served as the event's master of ceremonies. This year's "INCLUDE HER" conference is LadySam's fifth annual celebration of International Women's Day (IWD). Women celebrate and commemorate Women's Day on March 8th, globally. Moreover, although though IWD was first proposed in the early 1900s, it wasn't until the United Nations designated it as a worldwide holiday in 1975 that it truly took off. On Saturday, March 9, 2024, the Fiesta Royale Hotel hosted the "INCLUDE HER" event. Attendees enjoyed a three-course lunch, networking opportunities, and interaction.

Nakeeyat Dramani Sam, the 2019 TV3 winner, astonished the INCLUDE HER guests with a poem recitation. Rahman Dramani Sam, Nakeeyat's brother, also shocked the audience with a few songs. The talented brothers added a special touch to the celebration.

In addition to presenting the audience with the wheel of life tool (a life assessment tool), LadySam, who was recently appointed the Acting Head of the Institute of the International Relations and Diplomacy Network Ghana, combined her experience as a marketer, customer service trainer, and life coach. When LadySam announced the formation of her non-governmental organization, SHIMEI S.E.E.P., she also surprised herself. The term SHIMEI is a biblical one that means fame or repute, and S.E.E.P. stands for SHIMEI Empowerment and Education Program.
