The well-known chef will represent Ghana at the International Horticultural Expo on Saturday, March 9, 2024, in Doha, Qatar. In order to highlight Ghana's traditional cuisine and their rich cultural diversity, Chef Faila was invited by the Ghana Tourism Authority to work with a local caterer.
At the event, Faila would provide traditional Ghanaian beverages such sobolo, millet drink, and cocoa drink to guests from abroad.
On Tuesday, March 5, Faila announced this on Facebook and shared her delight about representing Ghana at the international competition.
She added, "It's a fantastic opportunity for me to share my passion for Ghanaian cuisine with a global audience to participate in the International Horticultural Expo."
"I'm thrilled to showcase my skills and inventiveness, showcasing Ghana's rich culinary customs and helping to make Ghana Day at the Expo a huge success," she continued.
On March 6, she will depart Ghana to take part in the tournament, which is scheduled to conclude on March 12.
