Emirates offers Eid flavors.
The delectable staples of Eid, such as soft lamb kibbeh labanieh with vermicelli rice and thick laban sauce, or chicken biryani with crunchy fried onions, raisins, and cashew nuts, will be served to Economy Class passengers leaving Dubai from April 10–13. Desserts with an Eid theme include chocolate mousse and halwa brownies with cardamom sauce and crumbled batheeth.
Customers traveling in premium economy and business class can enjoy dishes like fish matfy in a spiced tomato sauce, decadent butter rice, chickpea hashwa, and ghee rice mixed with potatoes. Traditional chicken mashwi el jeder is also available. Desserts will include a rich vanilla and rose mousse cake or a fragrant pistachio and hibiscus namoura with raspberry curd.
First Class patrons can savor well prepared delicacies like lamb kebabs marinating in spicy tomato butter, braised beef short ribs machbouse with fragrant rice and a local spice combination, or hammour matfy, an Emirati-style spiced tomato sauce with basmati rice. Desserts for Eid will include a warm orange blondie served with a white chocolate and vanilla cream tart covered with caramel sauce, or a vanilla and rose mousse cake with pistachio anglaise and fresh berries. Along with their meal, all passengers will receive a small gift to wish them a happy Eid Mubarak. This will be a sweet pumpkin Asseda, with First Class, Premium Economy, and Business travelers additionally receiving an extra almond apricot tart.
Customers can help themselves to a rich slice of pistachio cake with cream cheese or an aromatic saffron and cardamom cake in the A380 onboard lounge, where a range of Emirati pastries and Arabic coffee are waiting for them.
