Prior to Alesha's video message, Sarah identified the well-known musician and writer as one of her two favorite writers. She said Alesha's Lightening Girl book series served as an inspiration to her since it featured a character who bore a striking resemblance to her own appearance, complete with an afro and puffy hairstyle.
Alesha thanked Sarah via video message for her fourth book and all the excellent work she was doing, including restoring a school library in Ghana and donating to two charities in the UK. "I read your story in the newspaper, and it was really moving. Hearing about people like you validates why I do what I do and inspires me to keep going," the woman remarked.
Alesha expressed her desire to motivate the upcoming generation and expressed her delight that her book, Lightening Girl, encouraged Sarah to pursue her dreams and achieve great things, since it was the book's intended purpose. "I'm wishing you my undying love and good fortune. One day, I hope to see you in person. After that, she kissed her goodbye.
Throughout the whole of Alesha's video, Sarah's mouth dropped in utter shock. However, she later expressed to the host of the show her gratitude that her prayer had been answered and that she had hoped that viewers like Alesha would watch the show and witness. Alesha Dixon was then given signed copies of Sarah's novels.
Albert Kittoe, Sarah's father, who was also on the show, expressed his surprise that his daughter chose to give away all of the book's earnings to charity at such a young age. He did, however, add that he thinks Sarah got the idea from their family's Christmas charity donation tradition. "I think she got the idea from there because I saw the happiness on her face every time we went to give food and other things to homeless people for Christmas," he remarked.
