Speaking on the most recent episode of D-Black's UNKUT program, Praye Tiatia discussed the internal strife that resulted in the group's breakup. He claimed that the main reason for their breakup was a disagreement with Praye Tenten.
The father of two explained in detail how the group was unable to work out a peaceful resolution with Praye Tenten. He disclosed that they had information that Praye Tenten was secretly working on an album with another musician. He claims that after they confronted him about what they had heard, there was a misunderstanding and he made the decision to break up with the group.
Praye Ho-ne-ho subsequently made the decision to break away from the group because he did not agree with Praye Tenten's activities, as Praye Tiatia went on to disclose. This, he claimed, was the main cause of the trio's dissolution. "The choirmaster stayed put. Tenten departed ahead of us. We had a minor miscommunication at the time, so when we called to inquire, he said he had a cause for doing this and that if it wasn't the case, he was leaving.
"He was working on a project with a person we didn't know about when someone noticed him and informed us. When we phoned him, I believe they were recording an album or something. He said something like, "If you guys don't understand, then Praye Ho-ne-ho) also said if you do not understand then I do not want to work with you again." It was a very uncool response. And I was sitting there, and I was on one side of him [Praye Tenten], so he stepped out, and I did the same, and that was the end of it, he explained.
Praye Tiatia highlighted that their disagreement may have been averted if they had reached an understanding and agreement. He clarified that, in contrast to popular belief, money was not the reason behind the group's breakup. "It wasn't about money because we know how to share ₵100,000 if it is there." It's the ego [that caused it]; you can't go to a show, collect money, and take more than me," he continued.
